Multiple award-winning interior designer Roelfien Vos, creates internationally a variety of luxurious designs for yachts, residential and hospitality projects. Up until 1986 she lived in Germany, where she completed her education. After having acquired experience in various commercial positions, she started her career in 1999 as an interior designer and the co-founder of “De Blauwe Kamer”. In 2010 she continued the eponymous design company as the owner and founder of Roelfien Vos Interior Design & Architecture.
Roelfien finds inspiration in international design fairs, as well as during the numerous trips abroad – which are part of her work. Her style is a mix of customised objects, contemporary design and unique finds with close attention to detail. Together with her team, Roelfien unifies and creates a perfect balance in the choice of materials, colours, architectural forms and the way to combine them. As every project stands out by a luxurious and exclusive custom design, the characteristic features of these projects are based on the clients individual needs and desires. As a successful studio we want to contribute to the community. In 2014 we’ve choosen a cause with a global goal. The “Liliane Fonds” has as objective to give to the disabled children equal opportunities within their community and hand them the opportunity to go to school and take part of a social life. 80% of the children that have disabilities live in Africa, Asia and Latin America. As a result of poverty and lack of awareness and education, children end up in a vicious circle of analphabetism, illness and exclusion. Internationally there is a growing understanding that excluding children with a disability is a human rights issue. The “Liliane Fonds” works with on-site partners together with various teams of experts. The teams are supported through donations and regarding the content of the program.
